Program Details
This program is tailored for women who are interested in entering or re-entering the local job market. It offers job search skills coaching and personal pre-employment supports to help women connect with job opportunities in line with their professional backgrounds, employment skills and career objectives.
The supports begin with a career and personal needs assessment and one-on-one help in creating a short term action plan to navigate the best paths to employment success. In this program, women also are offered an opportunity to discuss the best sustainable options in reconciling the balance between work and family life.
Clients are also helped in creating their own professional resumes, cover letters and trained in conducting effective job interviews. They also learn to use social media, including LinkedIn and networking as viable job search tools.
