The 2026 MNS Scholarships
The My Neighbourhood Services scholarships are designed to support Youth within Peel Region. Each winner will receive $1000 to go towards their post-secondary studies. Deadline to apply for scholarships is April 24th 2026. Winners will be notified by email.
Scholarship Criteria:
- Applicant must be between the ages of 17 and 29Â
- Applicant must be planning to enrol or be currently enrolled in a post-secondary institution
- Applicant must reside in Peel Region
Mental Health and Wellness Studies Scholarship
Awarded to students enrolled in a mental health–related program who demonstrate a strong commitment to supporting individual or community well-being. This scholarship recognizes academic dedication, advocacy efforts, or practical experience that contribute to improving mental health awareness, access, and outcomes.
Community Leadership and Social Impact Scholarship
Recognizes students who have made meaningful contributions through community service, volunteerism, or leadership initiatives that create positive social change. Recipients demonstrate a sustained commitment to addressing community needs and inspiring others through action and service.
Sports and Athletic Achievement Scholarship
Awarded to students who demonstrate excellence, dedication, and leadership in athletic participation or sport-related achievement. This scholarship celebrates individuals who exemplify teamwork and perseverance both on and off the field.
Arts, Culture, and Creative Expression Scholarship
Supports students who show outstanding creativity, skill, or impact in artistic, cultural, or creative disciplines. Recipients use their creative work to express ideas, tell stories, or contribute meaningfully to cultural and artistic communities.
Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics (STEM) Scholarship
Awarded to students pursuing studies in STEM fields who demonstrate strong academic achievement and a passion for innovation and problem-solving. This scholarship recognizes curiosity, critical thinking, and the potential to contribute to scientific and technological advancement.
