Description:
This program offers open-ended, creative learning experiences with a variety of engaging materials to encourage children and caregivers to work together. This program enhances children’s motor skills and coordination as creative, hands-on activities aid in the development of both large and small muscles and eye–hand coordination. They also foster children’s fine motor control, which is crucial for writing. Activities such as: gripping a crayon or paintbrush, handling scissors, squeezing a bottle of glue or rolling play dough develops and improves dexterity. Since children use both hands for these activities, their coordination also improves. Through creative expression, children learn to follow directions and understand sequences.
