Malton Neighbourhood Services partners with other agencies and organizations in order to bring innovative programs and services to residents of Peel. Some of our programs include:

G.A.P (Growing as Parents Program) – Growing As Parents (G.A.P.) is a free parenting and life skills program provided by Vita Centre.  Vita Centre is a charitable organization dedicated to providing life affirming community support to all pregnant and parenting women in Peel.  The GAP program is offered in 12 week sessions. It is open to parents in Peel Region with children newborn to six years old. For two hours, once a week, a trained facilitator leads sessions on topics ranging from healthy relationships to how to handle temper tantrums. Occasionally guest speakers will be brought in to share their expertise on a topic. Call to register: 905-502-7933 x 232

Ecosource Community Garden program – OEY conducts a Malton, summer gardening program in partnership with Ecosource called Learn to Grow. Ecosource is an innovative environmental organization that inspires the community to become more environmentally responsible through creative public education. The Ecosource Community Gardens Program connects residents in Mississauga neighbourhoods with gardening spaces that encourage active, healthy living and help green the city. R.O.S.E. Theatre (Recognizing Original Self Expression)-  Malton Neighbourhood Services partners with the Bridgeway Family Centre and the Rose Theatre in Brampton to offer a FREE children’s program in:

      • creative music
      • movement
      • drama
      • imagination

When: Last Friday of every month, 9:30 a.m. – 11:00 a.m.
Where: The Rose Theatre, 1 Theatre Lane, Brampton
How to get involved: You must register on the first of every month for this program. There is a maximum of 25 children per session.
