About our LINC courses
Malton Neighbourhood Services offers free English language instruction classes for newcomers to Canada. All classes are taught by qualified instructors according to a government-regulated curriculum and help develop your listening, speaking, reading and writing skills.

Benefits of our LINC program
- Helps you gain confidence to use your English language in everyday life situations
- Improves your English language skills to enable you to obtain better jobs and succeed in the Canadian school system and workplace
- LINC classes not only teach English language skills, but also give practical advice on how to settle into the Canadian culture
- Daily basic computer classes help you learn and upgrade your present skills (Microsoft Word/Excel/PowerPoint)
- Daily conversation circles are conducted
- Eligible students may receive free childminding services and bus tickets for Mississauga/Brampton
- Fun-filled environment helps you learn about other cultures, make new friends and find support

- Open to landed immigrants and convention refugees
- On-going intakes
- To determine which level is most appropriate, testing is conducted prior to the start of classes

Format
- Full-time day classes, Monday - Friday, 9:00 a.m. - 2:30 p.m.
- Part-time evening classes, Monday - Thursday, 5:45 p.m. - 8:15 p.m.
- Conversation Circles, Saturdays 9 a.m. - 11:45 a.m. *available only at Cottrelle location
Fees
- All courses and placement testing are free of charge

Program Locations
- Classes are held upstairs at Malton Neighbourhood Services, 3540 Morning Star Drive, Mississauga, ON, inside the Malton Community Centre in the heart of Malton.
- Classes are also available at our new Brampton location, MNS Multicultural Newcomer Services, 3975 Cottrelle Blvd, Units 8-10, just off Highway 50.
